Although Superintendent Truitt has notified the SBE that DPI will waive the September 15
deadline required by SB49, we realize that you still have questions about the policies schools
are required to implement. Therefore, we will be holding a brief webinar on Thursday,
September 7 at noon with attorney Lisa Gordon-Stella to answer preliminary questions. A more
extensive webinar has been scheduled for September 28. To best utilize everyone's time,
